update... :)

Hello :) I wanted to update on my fabulous boyfriend. We have been dating for 1 & 1/2 months now, and come Feb 15, it will be 2 months. I miss him when I have to work. And its cold in my bed without him.... :( But when we are together, it is wonderful. I thank my lucky stars everyday that we've found each other...
This coming weekend, we are getting away from this town and heading up to Tawas City for the annual Perchville celebration........beer tents, food, fun, friends, and even a polar bear competition....lol (for the drunks.....) But, it should be a good time. We are sharing a hotel room with friends, which is right in downtown tawas, so come friday, me and my honey will be staying warm and gettin our drink on!! woo hoo. I'll let y'all know how fun it was......till then be safe and enjoy the superbowl!

You know, I've met the man with whom I am going to spend the rest of my life with. He is beyond anything I could've imagined. His name is Chris and we met off of yahoo personals (thank you yahoo!!) lol Anyway, we first met at Starbucks for a coffee, I didn't want to say goodbye yet, so I suggested we go to the mall to walk around a bit. Then, it was off to dinner with some friends for her birthday. (Brandy took instant like to him, because she saw how happy I was from square one) From the first time I met him, I knew that he was going to be significant in my life, I just didn't know how significant.....until I spent more time with him and realized that we've just found one another. Its soooo great. I love him with all my heart and plan on spending the rest of my life with him. So, to conclude this blog, I'm officially professing my love to the sweetest, kindest, most nurturing, loveable man that I've ever met.

Okay, so I haven't been on in a while.....so kill me......LOL j/k...
So, what is up with all the guys I've been meeting lately??? The last one, whom I was set up on a blind date with, turned out to be a real jerk......and the previous just did not want to stay in Michigan......said that the only thing keeping him here were his kids.......I'm like 'wow', okay, I guess I'm not needed in your life.........geez. But anyway, here I am in a brand new apartment, just taking life as it comes.......
I'm going to take some advice a very good friend of mine said, "Just have fun and relax, enjoy life, and when your least expecting it, a great guy will come along..."

hmmmm..

well, its been officially 6 weeks NOT smoking and I think I'm done with cigarettes.....*YUCK....
Anyway, the quitting website i use told me to celebrate and i'm gonna listen> Tonite it's to the pub in o'ville to have some brewski's/ brewha ha's...lol Then tomorrow its off to the zoo with my son, my mom, and my sister...
then later its party time at a work friends house then who knows.........
but anyway, i'm celebrating NOT coughing every 30 min, whiter teeth, nails and softer/brighter skin.....

Hi, I'm at work right now and I'm so frickin tired....It's my 3rd midnight in row. Let me ask you this, have you ever felt your eyes blurring even though your eyes are open and trying to drive? That's the way I felt this morning driving home, it was pretty scary...
I'm almost done though~~~ I just have to do my blood draws and pass my meds at 5a then I'm all set until I have to give report to the head Dr. on the floor along with a pharmacist, a clinical nurse educator, and a continuing care coordinator nurse.............that's gonna be so much fun....lol......NOT...
N E ways, now that I've bored all of you with my medical mumbo jumbo, I'm gonna go back to work.......

My birthday....

Well, today is going good so far.......I've had LOTS of birthday wishes and conversations with family. I'm sooooo blessed with family and friends that care.....
I'm going to go have dinner at my friend Brandy's house. On the menu tonight is meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and corn............then for the big dessert......
I'm having a german chocolate cake with coconut pecan frosting!!!! with ice cream.....WOO HOO! (my fav)
So anyway, I will be enjoying my evening with my friends, her entertaining kids, and my own little monster...

Hello, I'm just messing around on here and playing with my new DSL!!!! I know what your thinking, welcome to the 21st century!!!!!!! It's ok, i agree with you, I'm just very stingy on uneeded things..........But over the last 24hours, I've learned that DSL is VERY necessary. lol
